GE IS420YAICS1B Analog I/O Module
Product Details:
The GE IS420YAICS1B is an Analog I/O Module part of the Mark VIeS Series, designed for GE’s distributed control systems. Serving as a critical interface between 1–2 I/O Ethernet networks and analog terminal boards, it integrates a shared Mark VIeS Safety processor board (BPPC) and a dedicated analog acquisition board.
Supporting up to 10 analog inputs, it offers flexible configuration: the first 8 inputs as 5V/10V or 4–20mA, and the last 2 as 1mA or 0–20mA. It also features dual 0–20mA current loop outputs, ensuring seamless connectivity with external systems.
Compliant with ControlST V06.01+ and firmware V05.01+, it operates in simplex or Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) setups, ideal for industrial safety and control applications.
Key Features:
Analog Signal Handling: 10 analog inputs and dual 0–20mA outputs, with 16-bit ADC resolution for 0.1% full-scale accuracy.
Connectivity: Dual RJ45 Ethernet ports for network communication, a 3-pin 28VDC power input, and a DC-37 pin connector for terminal board integration; soft-start capability allows hot-plugging.
Redundancy Support: Compatible with simplex or TMR configurations, requiring uniform hardware in TMR sets.
Noise Suppression: Hardware filters and adjustable software low-pass filters enhance signal integrity; 60dB AC common-mode rejection (CMR) at 60Hz for ±5V common-mode voltages.
Diagnostics & Durability: Power-up self-tests and continuous power supply monitoring; operates in -40 to 158°F with a compact design.
Compatibility: Works with TBAISIC/STAIS#A terminal boards; BPPC processor supports modern firmware/software, ensuring long-term system integration.
